Exercise Smarter, Blood Drive This Week in South Brunswick

Monday

Top 10 Exercises that Can Lead to Injury, 3228 Route 27, Kendall Park, 7 p.m.

Join Jersey Physical Therapy to discuss the top 10 exercises that commonly lead to injury, and the proper form and body mechanics to use for different machines and weightlifting exercises.  The exercises that will be discussed are common exercises performed in a gym setting (e.g. bench press, leg extensions, leg press, abdominal exercises, squats, etc.).  Whether you have started exercising and/or lifting, or plan to start soon, come attend the session to hear about the “do’s and don’ts” in a gym setting.  All ages are welcome.

Tuesday

Jeopardy Club (5th-7th Grade), South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 5 p.m.

Come test your knowledge and play a special spooky version of the popular quiz game show complete with scoreboard, buzzers, and the Jeopardy board on the big screen. Special Halloween topics and surprises will join math and science categories.

Wednesday

Blood Drive, MarketFair 3535 US Highway One Princeton, 1 p.m.

MarketFair will be holding a blood drive in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The drive will be located in the space next to GNC. Receive the following for donating: Free tall Coffee from Starbucks. Enter to win a Bobby's Burger Palace gift card.

Thursday

Teen Chess Club (gr. 7-12), South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 6 p.m.
