Kendall Park Woman Charged with Stealing from Friends, Township School
Suspect allegedly stole thousands of dollars in jewelry from the homes of friends.
A township woman is facing charges for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in jewelry from friends, in addition to stealing school property from Constable Elementary School, according to police.
Earlier this year in April, Murolo went to the home of a family friend on Aldrich and allegedly asked to go upstairs to look for her son’s missing iPod, police said. After Murolo left the residence, $2,600 in jewelry, including a wedding ring, was reported missing from the master bedroom, according to police.
A few months later in June, Murolo allegedly went to another family friend’s home on Villanova Drive and asked to see how the family painted their son’s upstairs bedroom, according to police. After Murolo left the home, the residents reported $50 in cash had been taken from their daughter’s bedroom and $8,000 in jewelry was missing from the master bedroom, police said.

Officer Fama was able to recover one of the stolen pieces of jewelry at JR Gold Buyers in Metuchen, where a store employee identified Murolo as the woman who had sold the jewelry, according to police.
In June, Murolo also allegedly entered Constable Elementary School after hours and stole school property, police said.

Murolo surrendered to authorities on July 17. She faces up to five years in prison if convicted on all charges.
