12th Annual Holiday Lighting Celebration

The Dayton Village Citizens Coalition/South Brunswick Garden Club will sponsor their 12th annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Sunday, Dec. 7th. Starting at 3:45, Scouts and all the children hang natural ornaments (made at home) on trees at the Slack-Carroll House. At 4:15, everyone moves across the street to the Park next to La Taverna for singing led by Larry Campanella. A surprise “cool” guest will soon arrive with treats for the kids and then at 4:55 the lights on the tree will be lit. Afterwards, all may go back to the Fellowship Hall of the Dayton Presbyterian Church for hot chocolate and cookies. Attendees are requested to bring a non-perishable food item for the South Brunswick Food Pantry.
