In the Spring 1978 issue of the Princeton Recollector, William Flemer,
Jr. wrote “The first farm of some
sixty acres was purchased from the Myrick family, at a cost of $9,000, in
September 1913.” So began what was to become Princeton
Nurseries.
Join the Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands (FPNL) for the 100th
Anniversary Celebration of the Princeton Nurseries Kingston Site.
This event features Princeton Nurseries displays, historic vehicles, celebratory speeches, and
live music by The Bare Root Band (William Flemer IV and friends). Refreshments
and birthday cake will be served.
FREE, and all are welcome!
