South Brunswick Physicians On Magazine's 'Top Docs' List
New Jersey Monthly publishes annual list this week.
Two South Brunswick doctors earned inclusion on New Jersey Monthly's 2012 list of "New Jersey's Top Doctors," appearing in this week's issue. The magazine polled 22,780 New Jersey doctors and asked them who they considered the state's best, naming 839 to the list. South Brunswick doctors included on the list are: Several North Brunswick doctors made the list, including Richard E. Ioffreda, MD (Urology), Satya P. Kastuar, MD (Gastroenterology), David Kirschenbaum, MD (Surgery, Orthopedic), and Steven M. Reich, MD (Surgery, Spine).

I'll take it one step farther. Did you ever see the plaques in some physician's offices (usually displayed proudly in a public area) that say he/she was voted #1 in a magazine or a "Top Doc?" They are PURCHASED in many cases. That's right - $299 - $1000 can fetch a doc a plaque, framed magazine cover, trophy or loving cup. It's a BUSINESS. And that business fools an unsuspecting patient.
