Skull Riders Run Cancelled, Party Still On to Raise Money for Sick Township Child

Hurricane Sandy might've postponed the annual Skull Riders Halloween charity run, but the party will still go on this Saturday to help a South Brunswick child in need.

UPDATE: The South Brunswick Police Department has asked that the Halloween caravan not go on today as they feel the roads are still unsafe.  However, the Skull Riders are still having the party at the VFW on Henderson Road from 6-10 p.m. to raise money for a South Brunswick child with a serious illness. There will be food, live music from "The Wayback Machine" and raffles. They are asking for a $15 donation at the door. South Brunswick Skull Rider Needs Help in Fight with Cancer

Tom Dardani has organized numerous fundraisers for residents in need, now he needs help in his battle with esophageal cancer.

South Brunswick's Skull Riders have given back to the community in numerous ways over the past several years. Now, one of the group's founders is in need of help as he battles for his life.  Longtime South Brunswick resident Tom Dardani was diagnosed with an advanced stage of esophageal cancer and his health is rapidly failing.   Dardani and his family have launched events like the Skull Riders Charity Bike Run, The Dardani Haunted Halloween Trail, and many other fund raisers to support children in the community that have been stricken with cancer. The group has raised funds for the family of Brandon Dominguez, a South Brunswick child fighting brain cancer, and numerous others. The Dardanis have always supported others in the community, …
