SBHS Football Stars Head to Snapple Bowl
Gridiron all-stars from Middlesex County, including five from South Brunswick High School, will battle Union County in the 19th annual Snapple Bowl on July 19 at East Brunswick High School.
Five seniors who helped the 2011-12 South Brunswick High School football team set a school record for wins will once again represent the Vikings in the upcoming Snapple Bowl. The 19th annual all-star game, which pits stars from Middlesex County against Union County, will be held on July 19 at East Brunswick High School. The game raises money for The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities in Edison and The Children's Specialized Hospital in Fanwood. Representing SBHS will be offensive guard Bryan Stonkus, offensive tackle Bob Spilitore, fullback Azim Blakey, cornerback Darrell Harper and linebacker Isnard Mir-Mirced.
