South Brunswick Dancers Perform in Original Ballet

DanceVision presents a magical ballet rendition of a Shakespeare classic.

DanceVision Performance Company is pleased to present the original ballet A Midsummer Night’s Dream, based on William Shakespeare's classic comedy and set to Mendelssohn's lush score. Risa Kaplowitz, DanceVision's Artistic Director and choreographer of The Snow Queen and The Secret Garden, has once again used her ethereal choreography to bring to life this wonderful tale of magical characters caught up in a comedic entanglement of love, jealousy, and fun, where Fairies, Pixies, and Sprites make mischief with the lives of unsuspecting, love-struck mortals. The Snow Queen will return Dec. 15 and 16 at The College of New Jersey.

DanceVision is thrilled to announce the return of its original ballet, The Snow Queen, choreographed by Artistic Director Risa Kaplowitz. This fresh holiday ballet premiered to sold-out audiences last year at Kendall Theater, The College of New Jersey, and will return Dec. 15 and 16 with an added show to accommodate the popularity of the new holiday tradition. South Brunswick residents and DanceVision Performance Company members Anna Macaulay, Leah Macaulay, Chelsea Eltringham, Megan Kausch and Emerson Marchese have been cast in this original ballet. South Brunswick Kids Perform in The Secret Garden This Weekend

DanceVision will present a performance of The Secret Garden at The College of New Jersey this weekend, with several South Brunswick kids in the cast.

DanceVision is pleased to announce the fifth annual production of The Secret Garden, an original ballet choreographed by Artistic Director Risa Kaplowitz. The Secret Garden will come to life onstage at Kendall Hall in The College of New Jersey on April 28 at 7 p.m. and April 29 at 2 p.m.    Local residents Megan Kausch, Chelsea Eltringham and Emerson Marchese have been cast in this original ballet as rabbits. Sydney Eltringham is a brown rabbit.  Madison Quinones is both a rosebud and a fly, Anna Macaulay will be a rosebud, while her sister Leah Macaulay has been cast as a ladybug.  DanceVision provides the highest level dance education and performance opportunities while fostering artistic excellence and professionalism among young, …
