Christmas Decorations Stolen from South Brunswick Homes

Ornaments taken from homes during a series of thefts in Dayton, Monmouth Junction and Kendall Park.

A local Grinch visited South Brunswick last weekend as a series of thefts throughout town resulted in hundreds of dollars of Christmas decorations stolen from township homes. South Brunswick Police received several reports of Christmas lawn ornaments stolen between late Friday night and early Saturday morning. Police said the stolen items included five candy canes, two snowmen, two wooden reindeer, and Christmas lights. The total value of the stolen items was estimated at about $300. A Dayton resident said they returned home at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning and saw their snowman decoration still on their front lawn.
