South Brunswick Theater Group Presents 'Annie'

The New Jersey Repertory Theatre will present performances of the play "Annie" on Friday and Saturday at Crossroads South Middle School.

After a rough month in South Brunswick, the whole township could use a little sun. So this weekend Daddy Warbucks, Miss Hannigan and the iconic red-headed orphan herself will help bring some joy to the township during performances of the renowned play "Annie" on Friday and Saturday. The local New Jersey Repertory Theatre will bring talented performers from the area out to act, dance and sing some of the classic songs throughout multiple weekend shows. "I really like that I get to act with a dog, first of all, because that's so cool," said Jill Grzelak, who plays the lead role of Annie. Audition for 'Annie' in South Brunswick

New Jersey Repertory Theatre will hold auditions for the play "Annie" at Crossroads South Middle School.

Leapin’ Lizards!  "Annie" is coming to South Brunswick! Auditions for New Jersey Repertory Theatre's performance of the classic play "Annie" will be held on Sept. 21 and 24 for actors and actresses in grades 1 through 12. All those auditioning should be prepared to sing a portion of a Broadway show tune.  If you wish to be considered for the role of Annie, please be prepared to sing “Tomorrow” from the bridge (“when I’m stuck with a day that’s grey and lonely”) to the end of the song.  Younger auditioners may sing “Happy Birthday.”  Everyone will be seen on a first come, first served basis.  No appointments.  Rehearsals will be held primarily on Friday evenings (7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for ages 10 and under, 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. for ages 11 and…
