Sanu Tosses Touchdown Pass in Bengals Win

South Brunswick High School graduate Mohamed Sanu threw a 73-yard touchdown pass on the opening play of the Cincinnati Bengals 38-31 win over the Washington Redskins.

When the Cincinnati Bengals selected former South Brunswick High School and Rutgers University star wide receiver Mohamed Sanu in the third round of April's NFL Draft, they were hoping for him to continue his prowess catching the football. However, in Sunday's 38-31 Bengals victory over the Washington Redskins, it was Sanu's arm that got the attention. On the first play from scrimmage, the Bengals lined up in the Wildcat formation with Sanu at quarterback and starting QB Andy Dalton at receiver. With a load of experience operating from the Wildcat at Rutgers, the Redskins defense moved up to defend Sanu running the ball. Sanu would then show of the arm that made him a star quarterback at SBHS, lofting a picture perfect 73-yard touchdown …

So happy, so not surprised! Love reading what Mo's teammates have to say about him ... then again, not surprised. He has always been humble, hardworking, a strong teammate and an incredible contributor doing whatever it takes.
