Toy Drive, Vendor Night in South Brunswick This Weekend

Events in and around town this weekend.

Friday

Vendor Night at The Goddard School, 399 Ridge Rd Suite 1 Dayton, 5 p.m.

A fun night where local businesses display their wares and give you the opportunity to shop at the school. From toys, to jewelry, to food - they will have a variety of unique vendors. For more information call 732-274-9631. 

Saturday

Second Chance Toys Drive, 12 Walden Pond Way, Monmouth Junction, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

South Brunswick High School students will be collecting plastic toys to be donated to the less fortunate. This is the third time that SBHS students have teamed up to collect toys. In the past, they have gathered over 2,500 toys.

Plainsboro Preserve's Winter Celebration, 80 Scotts Corner Road, Cranbury, noon.

There will be hot drinks and activities for the whole family, including a live animal show and nature hike.  Pick up a holiday gift for your favorite naturalist. Cost per program is $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Pre-register by calling 609-897-9400.

Sunday

Holiday Open House, 174 Davidson Mill Rd., North Brunswick, 11 a.m.

Alpacas produce one of the world's most luxurious natural fibers.  Due to its unique thermal properties, alpaca is three times warmer than wool, lightweight, and breathable. Stop by the farm and meet Shadow, Sunny, Charger, Midnight and The General. Pick up some accessories or holiday crafts for that special person on your gift list. Choose from a selection of scarves, hats, gloves, ski bands and socks.
