Friday

South Brunswick Arts Commission presents: "Teachers as Artists, South Brunswick Municipal Building 540 Route 522, Monmouth Junction, 6:30 p.m.

"Teachers as Artists IV" is Art work in a range of media created by teachers from the South Brunswick School System in various disciplines. Come meet the artists at the opening reception on July 12, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. The art work will be displayed from  July 9 – Oct. 2.

Family Movie NightBeech Woods Park137 Beekman Rd  Kendall Park, 7:30 p.m.

Music and games from 7:30 until dusk; Movie: "Dr Seuss, The Lorax" at dusk, about 8:45. Bring the family, a picnic dinner. In case of rain, the program will be held at the Community Center, 124 New Rd. Monmouth Junction.

Come out for this fun, structured play activity suitable for children, teens and adults.  Participants toss, juggle, craft and fly handmade hula hoops (adult and child sized), juggling sticks, scarves and paper crafts to the rhythm of uplifting music. The environment joyfully energizes focus to encourage full involvement. The activities are challenging but achievable for everyone. The star of the show is Louie the Hoop Flying Clown and Therapy Dog performing his favorite tricks and 
making friends with everyone. 

Annual Family Blueberry FestivalKingston Presbyterian Church, 4565 Route 27, Kingston, 6 p.m.

Enjoy blueberries, great desserts, live music, pony rides, face painting, kids' crafts and much more at this free event. Bring your family and friends.
