Teen Candy Sculptures, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 4 p.m.
You will be provided with an assortment of candy. Your assignment? Make it look like a sculpture of something...and then eat the candy. That's it, really.
Registration is not required but seating and supplies are limited. This program is for grades 7-12.
Wednesday
Dimensions of Diversity cultural workshop, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 3 p.m.
An introduction to the language, country and culture of France with games and activities for students in grades 5-8. This workshop is run by a student with the cooperation of the YA Librarian. Registration is not required, however space is limited.

Friday
Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks, Crossroads South Middle School, 6 p.m.
The festival will offer food vendors, free entertainment, activites and music provided by a DJ. The Independence Day celebration will be held at Crossroads South Middle School on July 5, beginning at 6 p.m. with fireworks starting around 9 p.m. The rain date for fireworks only is Saturday, July 6 at 8:45 p.m.
