Bakery Opening, Superintendent Input Session in South Brunswick This Week

Monday

The Monday Night Book Club for Adults meets on the first Monday of every month in the Local History Room; follow the signs in the library to find this meeting room or ask at the Information Desk. The list of books selected for the year is posted on the web at Monday Night Book Club.

Wednesday

Corner Bakery Cafe Opening, 3535 US Hwy 1, Princeton, 6:30 a.m.

Whether it's to discover the made-to-order Anaheim Scrambler for breakfast, the signature Chicken Pomodori Panini for lunch, the mouthwatering Pesto Cavatappi for dinner, or a slice of bakery fresh Cinnamon Creme Cake for dessert, come check out the newest location at Princeton MarketFair Mall. As part of the opening day celebration, the cafe is offering the first 100 guests a commemorative Princeton MarketFair Corner Bakery Cafe travel mug, which includes a daily coffee refill for one year, free of charge. Additionally, all guests that come in during opening week will have the chance to enter a raffle for the "Free Panini for a Year" giveaway. 

Superintendent Search Community Input Session, Crossroads North Middle School Auditorium, 635 Georges Road, Monmouth Junction, 7 p.m.

The South Brunswick Board of Education invites you to attend a critical issues input session to gather information to be used to set criteria for the background, training and experience necessary for the new superintendent of schools. Conducted by the New Jersey School Boards Association, search consultants Jane M. Kershner and Gwen H. Thornton will explain the search procedure, the roles played by the Board, the staff and the public in the process, and the calendar for the actual search. Discussion will center on the strengths, concerns, on-going issues and future initiatives which will face the new superintendent.
