Rush Holt - Affordable Health Care Act Meeting, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 11 a.m.

U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (NJ-12) will host administration officials, doctors, patients, and health care advocates from throughout Central New Jersey at the South Brunswick Public Library for a wide-ranging roundtable discussion on the Affordable Care Act:  what is working well so far, what can be improved, and what further steps Congress can take to strengthen the health care system.

Your Kids...Yourself Free Event, JCC of North & South Brunswick Nursery School 1001 Finnegans Lane, North Brunswick, 8 p.m.

JCC of North & South Brunswick Nursery School PAC, Parent Action Committee meeting followed by Dr. Michael Bachman of the new PM Pediatrics (Urgent Care) on Route 1 South in North Brunswick (near Regal Theater) speaking on Winter Illnesses and Injuries. There will be time for a question and answer period.  Jennifer Manson, owner of Stretch Yourself Fitness, LLC will then lead a class in Callanetics.  Please wear comfortable clothing. Refreshments will be served.

Thursday

Yoga for Kids Ages 5 and Up, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 5 p.m.

Through the use of yoga tools, stories and play, yoga provides children with opportunities to grow physically, mentally, emtionally and spiritually. Each class will incorporate opening activities, songs, yoga poses, games/creative movement, relaxation/breathwork and a closing activity. Music and props will be incorporated as well to enhance the yoga experience.
