South Brunswick Vikings 14/15U Wins USABL Championship
Vikings go 8-1 in the regular season before defeating Monroe for the championship.
The South Brunswick Vikings completed an outstanding fall season by defeating the Monroe Falcons, 2-1, in the championship game of its USABL 14/15U playoffs last Sunday.
The Vikings went 8-1 in the regular season to earn the top seed in the playoffs, then defeated Northern Burlington, 2-1, in the semifinals last Saturday before beating Monroe in walkoff fashion for the championship.
Members of the team were Jaren Almonte, Hunter Basile, Dillon Beck, Mike Casillas, Marco DiIusto, Jake Foeldes, Tom Leavy, Ryan Moran, Alex Pollock, Jared Rone, Alex Sorge, Anthony Sjolund, Brendon Zircher.
The Vikings were coached by Steve Tuckerson, Andy Beck, Pete Sjolund and Jose Almonte.
