South Brunswick Football Visits Monroe Tonight

The Vikings will head down the road to battle Monroe Township High School at 7 p.m. tonight.

The South Brunswick High School football team will look to keep its dream season rolling, as they put their perfect record on the line against the Monroe Township High School Falcons tonight. 

The Vikings (4-0) are now ranked fifth overall in New Jersey by MaxPreps, and ranked 159 nationally. 

Last Sunday, the , with a come from behind 28-24 victory. Both teams combined for 741 total yards of offense. South Brunswick was able to take a 28-24 lead with 1:14 to play on a 1-yard touchdown run by Darrell Harper.

The Vikings once again dominated on the ground, with 305 yards rushing, which included contributions by Azim Blakely (3-19), Jevon Tyree (5-27), Harper (8-72), Dahrae Ford (17-70), T.J. Perkowski (3-29), Dan Gorzynski (4-28) and David Flanders (3-40).

Monroe is 1-4 this year, after falling to Edison 12-0 on Oct. 6.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Monroe High School, located at 200 Schoolhouse Road in Monroe Township.
