South Brunswick Boys Basketball set for Tournaments

Vikings snap five-game losing streak

After having snapped a five-game losing streak in the regular season, the South Brunswick High School boys basketball team will now get a chance to see what it can do in the post-season tournaments.

South Brunswick ended its losing streak with a 55-34 win over Old Bridge on Feb. 10.

While South Brunswick certainly wasn't taking anything for granted at that point, there was certainly a strong indication the streak would end against Old Bridge. After all, South Brunswick had defeated Old Bridge, 60-35, in the season opener on Dec. 17.

"I think it's a good match up for us,'  Hoehman said. "We split with them during regular season, and we know each other in and out. It's just a matter of who wants it more."
