Vikings gain milestone 100th win on the road to recapturing Central Jersey championship.

The South Brunswick 12U Vikings travel team recently won the Spring 2013 Central Jersey Baseball League championship to regain the title they last held in 2011.

The Vikings played some hard-fought regular-season games, beating South Plainfield, Hillsborough, and South Shore Federals from Staten Island while finishing the regular season with a 5-3-1 record to clinch a playoff spot.

The Vikings continued to play hard going into the playoffs, beating the Hillsborough Heat (6-3) by a score of 5-3. The championship for the Central Jersey Baseball League was held on Father’s Day at Rowland Park's turf fields, where they played the South Shore Federals.
