Freehold tied the game in the top of the second and added two more runs in the top of the fourth inning to take a 3-1 advantage.  The Vikings responded with three runs in thebottom of the fourth to take the lead courtesy of doubles from Servedio, Fisher and Frankie Sanchez.

Freehold tied the game again in the top of the fifth bringing the game to a climactic sixth inning.  In the top of the inning, Sanchez worked out of a bases loaded jam without surrendering a run.

With the game tied in the bottom of the sixth, the Vikings set the table on singles by Gruver and Fisher.  After a double steal advanced the runners to second and third, Freehold intentionally walked Sanchez to load the bases.  Quigley then battled through a ten pitch at bat, fouling off several tough pitches before the Freehold pitcher finally yielded a wild pitch that allowed Gruver to score the winning run.

The Vikings played excellent baseball throughout the tournament and have set the stage for what should be a special summer.
