Recreation In-Town Youth Basketball Registration Deadline Approaching

The registration fee is $65 per participant, payable to South Brunswick Township.

The deadline to register for the South Brunswick Department of Parks and Recreation Winter 2012 Youth Basketball Program is Saturday, October 1.

After the deadline, children who register will be placed on a waiting list. All registration is done online on Community Pass-South Brunswick.

The registration fee is $65 per participant, payable to South Brunswick Township. The fee is due within five days of online registration, in person or by mail in the Recreation office. Scholarships are available on request.  For children who register after the deadline, when an opening occurs, parents will be contacted by email and have 2 business days to respond.

Requests for coaches, team placement, car pooling requests, or to be with specific friends cannot be accommodated due to the large number of participants in this program.

The program is for South Brunswick Resident youth in grades 3 – 8. Practices begin in December, one hour in the evenings during the week; there will be one game on Saturdays, beginning on January 7 thru the end of March. The program takes place at various schools or the Community Center depending on the age group.

Volunteers are always needed to coach and assistant coach! Please register online as a coach or assistant to help provide this needed service to your community. Space in the program is dependent on the number of people who volunteer to coach teams.
