Chair Yoga for Seniors

   On Tuesday January 4th, a new session of Chair Yoga class will be starting at 10:30am at the South Brunswick Senior Center.  Please register December 22nd.

The session runs for 8 weeks at a cost of $32.00.

    Chair Yoga engages your body, mind and spirit which may lead to a feeling of self–reliance and control over pain. It provides long–term preventive relief through improved posture, breath techniques and stress reduction. It can make you more aware of your body's balance, posture and proper alignment. This program will bring a renewed focus to your life. It strengthens your abdominal muscles and increases blood flow — all of which are beneficial to the body.

   Chair yoga can sooth your mind, which in turn can produce a relaxed, calm and meditative state that can lessen pain.
