The Vikings were seeded sixth in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group V playoffs and open the playoffs on the road at No. 3 Trenton Saturday, 1 p.m., according to nj.com.
South Brunswick is 4-3 following a 35-13 loss to Sayreville last Friday. South Brunswick won the championship following a 10-2 season in 2012 with a 33-22 win over Manalapan.

Trenton is undefeated at 7-0.
The winner of this game plays the winner of the game between No. 2 Old Bridge (6-2) and No. 7 Hunterdon Central (6-3). They play Friday night, 7 p.m.
