Old Library Building Demolished
The house on Kingston Lane that originally served as the South Brunswick Public Library in 1968 was torn down on Monday, July 22. The demolition of the building will enable a parking lot expansion for the current Library building next door. It was sad to see the old building reduced to rubble, but Library visitors will get an expansion of much needed parking space. The old building had not been in public use for some time. Check The Patch and the SBPL website www.sbpl.info, Library Facebook page and newsletter The Compass for upcoming details on the parking lot expansion as the emerge.
