Job Workshop for Veterans

free job skills workshop

If anyone deserves an extra edge in the job market it should be a veteran.  To that end, a free Job Seeker Workshop for Veterans will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 13 and 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the South Brunswick Public Library.

Career Counselor Eileen Levine will host this free two-day workshop for military veterans returning to the workforce.  Topics will include resumes, interviews, practices for best results, and mistakes to avoid.  Participants should attend both days of the workshop and bring along paper and pen.  This program is geared to persons with recent military experience, but is open to the general public.

According to an online article on www.military.com  “most veterans are opting for … Management Consultant, IT Program Manager, Systems Analyst, FBI Agent, Field Service Engineer, Systems Engineer, and more” in the tech services field.
