St. Augustine Students Give the Gift of Love

St. Augustine of Canterbury School students donate hair to Locks of Love, prepare goody bags for the Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick.

Students at  in Kendall Park are living the spirit of giving. The kids continue to demonstrate what they have learned from their teachers and parents about helping those in need. 

Third-grader Taylor was determined to give a gift to help someone in need. She chose Dec. 7, her 9th birthday, to donate 10 inches of her hair to Locks of Love.

Continuing the spirit of giving, students in grades 6 through 8 prepared nearly 150 goody bags for the Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick.  The whole school participated in a patriotic dress down day, raising $375 for the Friends of 9/11.

Even the youngest of ages at St. Augustine are learning about helping others in need when a Kindergarten student, Dylan, with the help of her mom, raised $500 in donations for the Diabetes Association. 

Tomorrow's future is looking bright with the students of the St. Augustine's community leading by example.
