South Brunswick Students Compete at Science Olympiad

Students from South Brunswick High School and Noor-Ul-Iman School participate in the State Finals of the Science Olympiad at Middlesex County College.

Students from and  joined with thousands of kids from schools around the state for a unique science competition this week.

Close to 1,100 middle and high school students converged at Middlesex County College on Tuesday to participate in the State Finals of the Science Olympiad. The students took part in various competitions to test their science acumen. 

The scientific experiments included shooting bottle rockets, racing helicopters, propelling objects from a catapult, manipulating robots and wheeled vehicles to perform skills such as moving billiard balls into holes and much more. 

The winners, Community Middle School and West Windsor-Plainsboro South, will go on to the national finals at the University of Central Florida in May.

Way to go!! I am glad that this program introduced at Middle school from this year.
