South Brunswick High School Breaks Guinness World Record (VIDEO)

SBHS senior Ian Moritz lead the school to break the Guinness record for most high-fives in one hour during a school pep rally on Friday.

Inside a raucous gym on Friday at , high-fives were being exchanged frantically up and down the packed bleachers. The hand slapping wasn't in celebration of a victory for the Vikings, however.

Senior ran up and down one set of bleachers after another as the school attempted to break the Guinness Book of World Records for most high-fives in an hour.

In addition to a successful prom date invitation during the rally, the event was a triumph for Moritz. As the students yelled at the top of their lungs celebrating fall and spring sports teams while the SBHS dance squads performed, Moritz slapped his way to 1,739 high-fives, unofficially breaking the record.
