South Brunswick Commission on Women to Award Two Scholarships

Scholarship is open to any young women who reside in South Brunswick and are high school seniors.

The South Brunswick Commission on Women is currently seeking applications for their annual scholarship program.  

All graduating female seniors who reside in South Brunswick are eligible to apply. This scholarship program has been established to recognize and support the leadership activities of the young women of South Brunswick Township who are in their senior year of high school.

The scholarship will be awarded at the South Brunswick Commission on Women’s Leadership Conference and Career Pathways on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the South Brunswick High School. The scholarship winners are requested to be present at this event.

The application process includes:

  • A completed application form
  • An essay on what leadership qualities you possess and how have they helped you contribute to the community
  • One letter of recommendation from a teacher of your choice
  • A resume of school and community activities
  • An official high school transcript

Please be sure that all portions of the application contain your name. On average, about 25 students apply for the scholarship.  The goal of both the scholarship and the conference is to develop the next generation of female leaders.
