SBPA Language Arts Workshop Rescheduled

"Understanding the New Common Core State Standards for Language Arts" was postponed by Superstorm Sandy.

Due to the South Brunswick School District’s unforeseen school closures, the South Brunswick Parent Academy's second curriculum workshop of the year, Understanding the New Common Core State Standards for Language Arts was unable to be held.

However, it has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 4. Presented by the Language Arts District Supervisors, this important workshop will acquaint parents with the new national standards for language arts, particularly how the current District curriculum has changed and what these changes will look and feel like for students.

Additionally, parents will receive valuable resources which will aid them in supporting their children’s achievement of these new standards. The original SBPA workshop scheduled for that date, From Crib to College: Planning for Tomorrow … Today! has been postponed until next year.
