SBHS Marching Band Ready for New School Year

Come to South Brunswick High School Thursday evening for a performance from the SBHS Marching Band as they prepare for a new season.

While many of their friends were out last week enjoying the final days of summer vacation, the hard working students in the were busy putting in the work that has made them one of the state's best.

Between camps locally at SBHS and this past week in Allemuchy, NJ, the kids and staff are preparing were preparing for another run at greatness this year. Band staff members said the kids were busy this week preparing their initial show for the upcoming season, as the performance will undergo numerous tweaks over the coming weeks under the leadership of Mark and Ginny Kraft.

For band parents or just music lovers, a taste of what the SBHS band has planned for this year will be on full display Thursday (Aug. 30) evening at the high school. The Marching Band will perform at 6 p.m. for the entire community to celebrate the hard work these talented musicians have been putting in this summer.

This event is free and all are welcome to attend. So come out and support a township institution, the award winning South Brunswick High School Marching Band as they prepare for a new season.

The performance will begin at 6 p.m. at , 750 Ridge Road in Monmouth Junction.
