SBHS Hosts Marching Band Tournament of Champions

A host of top marching bands from around the state will converge on South Brunswick High School Saturday for the SBHS "Tournament of Champions" festival.

South Brunswick High School's Marching Band has long been recognized as one of the best in the entire eastern region.

On Saturday, the Vikings will get to show off their talent for the home crowd during the SBHS "Tournament of Champions" Marching Band Festival. The Vikings' recent successes include being ranked number one in the state, and also holding the from Virginia to Maine, by the US Scholastic Band Association.

Under the guidance of Mark and Ginny Kraft for three decades, the SBHS marching band has become a South Brunswick institution, as band members have gone on to play at colleges like Yale, Princeton, University of Michigan and Penn State.
