Insurance 101 With Margaret

Margaret Andreko, a life ong resident of South Brunswick and a N.J. State Licensed Insurance Broker for over 20 years, explains New Jersey Health/Life Insurance plans. Margaret has recently completing a volunteer training course with AARP New Jersey Speakers Bureau enabling her to speak to Medicare Beneficiaries on a variety of topics provided by AARP New Jersey Speakers Bureau. Over the past year she has spoken at Senior Centers and Libraries regarding Health plans for Medicare Beneficiaries and have been asked and approved to come back and speak again this year. Her mission is to help educate seniors in a comfortable setting on understanding available Medicare health plans options and choices in New Jersey so that they may have the tools and resources necessary to make a well informed choice to fit their needs as well as their budget. She offers free Medicare presentations for educational purposes and distributes approved Medicare educational materials that are free of plan specific information. I encourage consumers to call the plan to get specific information and where to get their Medicare questions answered. Information covered in the August 30 seminar will be: how do Medicare Advantage Plans work?; understanding your Medicare Advantage Plan Options - HMO, POS, PPO, PFFS, SNF; things to consider when choosing or changing your coverage; and annual enrollment time line - who can join and what you pay.  Location: Meeting Room A.
