The Aging in Place Partnership and the South Brunswick Senior Center has partnered with Brunswick Mobility, located on Route 1 North in North Brunswick for the first CarFit event exclusively for South Brunswick seniors ages 55+. CarFit is a designation of AAA and is an educational program that offers older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles ‘fit’ them. The CarFit program also provides information and materials on community specific resources that could enhance their safety as drivers and/ or increase their mobility in the community. On March 24th from 10 am –noon you could attend the free event where teams of 2 certified CarFit technicians will provide a confidential evaluation of your vehicle with you present and make suggestions to you. The evaluation takes about 30 minutes. Refreshments will be served and all participants will receive a $25. 00 gift card redeemable for merchandise and/or services at Brunswick Mobility Professionals and Brunswick Automotive.
