Heart Health Lecture

   February is National Heart month. On Thursday, February 3 from 12:15 to 1:15 in the main meeting room at the South Brunswick Municipal Building, there will be a health lecture and topic will be Heart Health. Alpesh B Patel, MD, board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, interventional cardiology and nuclear medicine will present. Dr Patel is a member of the Medical Staff of Princeton HealthCare System. Heart disease is the major cause of death in the United States and is a major cause of disability. The most common heart disease in the United States is coronary heart disease, which often appears as a heart attack. The chance of developing coronary heart disease can be reduced by taking steps to prevent and control factors that put people at greater risk.
