Bullying and Your High School Student: What You Need to Know About the Newly-Enacted Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights

This is a high school workshop designed to give parents and teens information about the new NJ state anti-bullying law, designed to help parents and students deal with issues and ramifications of bullying and harassment, including cyberbullying.

The workshop is being presented in collaboration with the SBHS BRIDGE Center and will include a two-part information session, outlining the details of the law, as well an in-depth look into the social and emotional aspects of bullying, particularly as it relates to older teens, presented by Dr. Isaiah Pickens, PhD.

The information session will be followed by interactive, small group activities with the teens to encourage more in-depth discussion and strategizing. Please note: while we encourage you to attend with your teen, it is NOT a requirement for attendance.
