14th Annual Leadership Conference and Career Pathways
On Saturday, March 19th, The South Brunswick Commission on Women will host their 14th Annual Leadership Conference and Career Pathways event at the South Brunswick High School, as we have done in the past 13 years. It is a well attended event and we have nearly 300 students registered and about 60 speakers for different workshops. Over the years, the students look forward to this event to help in career planning. The students get to meet professional women from many different walks of life coming together as a community. The day starts with a Key Note address and a recognition of the 2 scholarship recipients. Mayor Gambatese will be present along with some administrators from different schools in attendance.
The commission gives out 2 One Thousand Dollar scholarships to 2 graduating seniors who have done outstanding community service and have taken leadership roles.
This year's key note speaker is :
Jessica G. Ortiz
Acting Operational Vice President of Development
and
Director of Grants
Liberty Science Center
