Cup Golf Outing to Benefit South Brunswick High School Project Graduation

“ Tee Off for EDUCATION”, featuring its first annual golf outing, The Foundation Cup, to be held on Friday,

May 23rd at Bunker Hill Golf Course.  The Foundation Cup Golf Outing provides golfers a chance to enjoy a day of golf and participate in activities benefitting the Education Foundation.  In addition, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s “Tee Off for EDUCATION” will support South Brunswick High School’s Project Graduation campaign.

The Foundation Cup Golf Outing package includes greens fees, golf cart, breakfast, lunch and prizes. The package is available for $125 per player, with foursomes available for $480.  The outing will begin with registration at 6:30 a.m. and a 7:30 a.m. “Shotgun Tee Off”.  Individual and Foursome registrations are available by visiting the website, www.edfoundationsb.org, or by contacting the Foundation Cup Committee Chairperson, Bob Long at RLong@edfoundationsb.org.

Individuals and businesses can also support the Education Foundation and this year’s “Tee Off for EDUCATION” campaign through The Foundation Cup Sponsorship opportunities, including the sponsorship of a hole or tee, lunch, raffle or prize, door prize, beverage cart or overall sponsorship. All sponsors will be prominently recognized during the event, as well as in The Tournament Cup Golf Outing program. The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township, Inc. is an independent, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that funds programs that benefit South Brunswick public school students. The Foundation looks to foster educational opportunities, creativity, and achievement in the South Brunswick Public Schools by providing funding for grants of student programs, innovative professional development opportunities for staff and student scholarships by generating corporate and private financial support and encouraging volunteer time.

A recipient of a portion of the proceeds for this year’s “Tee Off for EDUCATION” will be South Brunswick High School’s Project Graduation.   Project Graduation is an event that is held nationwide following high school graduation to provide graduating seniors an opportunity to celebrate their graduation with their peers in a safe, supervised, tobacco-, substance- and alcohol-free atmosphere. The event has been organized and funded since 1992 through the efforts of parents and local community organizations, such as the South Brunswick Municipal Alliance Against Substance Abuse. It is fully endorsed by the South Brunswick Board of Education.  As a part of the SBHS PTO, an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, your donation to Project Graduation may be tax-deductible.
