College Honors for South Brunswick Students

Township Dean's List honorees from University of New Haven and York College of Pennsylvania.

York College of Pennsylvania

The following local students have been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester at York College of Pennsylvania.

Dana Piemonte of Dayton, a sophomore Nursing major

Jennifer Sisco of Kendall Park, a senior Graphic Design major

Michael Wolf of Kendall Park, a junior Sport Management major

To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Located in southcentral Pennsylvania, York College offers more than 50 baccalaureate majors in professional programs, the sciences and humanities to its 4,600 undergraduate students. The College also offers master's programs in business, education and nursing, and a doctorate in nursing practice. A center of affordable academic excellence, York is dedicated to the intellectual, professional and social growth of its students. The College helps them develop a concrete plan to attain academic growth and career success; encourages them to try in the "real world" what they learn in the classroom; and prepares them to be professionals in whatever career they pursue.

University of New Haven

The following students were named to the Dean's List at the University of New Haven for the fall 2012 semester. Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the Dean's List.

Stefanie Herbach of Monmouth Junction 

Nicholas Wereszczak of Kendall Park 

A leader in experiential education, the University of New Haven is experiencing a historic and nationally recognized surge in enrollment. Founded in 1920, the University provides its students with a unique combination of solid liberal arts and real-world, hands-on professional training. UNH is a private university with an 80-acre main campus. The University has an enrollment of more than 5,200; approximately 1,700 graduate students and more than 3,500 undergraduates, 70 percent of whom reside in University housing. The University offers more than 80 undergraduate degrees and more than 25 graduate degrees through its five colleges, in fields such as sports management, nutrition, forensic science, music and sound recording, engineering, computer science and criminal justice. 

Widener University

The following students from the area were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Widener University in Chester, Pa.

Samantha Bell a psychology major from Dayton

Emily DeFreitas a English/creative writing major from Kendall Park

The Dean's List recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester.

Widener University is a private, metropolitan university that connects curricula to social issues through civic engagement.
