Cambridge School Sweeps American Legion Coloring Contest

Fifth grader Valerie Arsenev takes top prize.

The American Legion Post 401 Coloring Contest for 2013 was won by Valerie Arsenev, a fifth grader at Cambridge Elementary School. Presenting the award to Valerie were Irv Demarest, coloring contest chairman and Rich Allen Post 401 service officer.

Runners up were: Jenna Macksoud and Roshni Srinivos also fifth grade students at the Cambridge School.

The contest picture, called “Let Freedom Ring,” featured an American Bald Eagle atop the Liberty Bell with the American Flag flying behind.
