South Brunswick Social Services Takes The Challenge To Fight Hunger

From South Brunswick Social Services:

The South Brunswick Food Pantry has partnered with the Feinstein Foundation to take part in the foundation's 17th Annual Challenge to Fight Hunger.

All members of Middlesex County and the South Brunswick community are invited to be partners in this challenge. Each year from March 1 through April 30, the Feinstein Foundation challenges anti-hunger agencies throughout the nation to raise as many funds and collect as many food donations as possible.

(Each food item donated is valued at $1.00 per item) Alan Shawn Feinstein, founder of The Feinstein Foundation, will divide his donation of one million dollars proportionately among all of the agencies participating in this challenge.

IT IS SIMPLE. The more donations that are made to the South Brunswick Food Pantry from March 1 through April 30, the more money the Food Pantry will receive from the Feinstein Foundation. For each of the past seventeen years, the Feinstein Foundation has given away one million dollars from March 1 through April 30. Their challenge to fight hunger has helped raise one billion dollars for over 2,000 anti-hunger agencies nationwide.
