South Brunswick Democratic Chairman Could Be New Township Manager

Agenda for Tuesday evening's South Brunswick Township Council meeting lists a resolution to appoint local attorney Bernard P. Hvozdovic, Jr., as the new Township Manager of South Brunswick.

On the agenda for Tuesday evening's meeting of the South Brunswick Township Council is a resolution to appoint local attorney Bernard P. Hvozdovic, Jr., as the new Township Manager of South Brunswick. 

Hvozdovic has also served as the South Brunswick Democratic Party Chairman. With John O'Sullivan as the lone Republican on the council, the appointment of Hvozdovic could be approved without the vote of O'Sullivan.

The search for a new manager has been ongoing since Matthew Watkins. Watkins served as manager for a total of about 12 years in two separate stints and left South Brunswick, where he earned a yearly salary of $158,008, to become City Manager for Clifton, NJ.
