Kaplan Appointed Superior Court Judge in Middlesex
Former Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan has been approved to serve as a Superior Court judge.
A state Senate committee voted Monday to appoint former Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan as a Superior Court Judge in Middlesex County.
Kaplan was nominated at the beginning of the year by Gov. Chris Christie. He stepped down as county prosecutor last year after holding the position for more than 10 years.
Kaplan's appointment was approved by the committee with a vote of 7 to 2 with 2 abstentions, according to a report in the Star-Ledger.
