Two Somerset County Men Charged with 25 Car Burglaries in South Brunswick

Burglaries occurred in April and May in the Weatherhill Development, Drinking Brook Estates, and Dayton sections of South Brunswick.

South Brunswick Police have charged two Somerset County men in connection with a series of car burglaries over a two-month span in the township.

Daniel Quintana, 29, of Bound Brook, and Kevin Page, 26, of South Bound Brook, were taken into custody last week by South Brunswick Police following an investigation by Det. Ron Seaman.

The suspects were charged in connection with 25 car burglaries, which occurred in April and May in the Weatherhill Development, Drinking Brook Estates, and Dayton sections of South Brunswick.

Following the burglaries, investigators tracked a cell phone that was stolen from one of the vehicles and found it was being used in Bridgewater. That led investigators to a cell phone that was eventually tracked back to Quintana, police said. During a subsequent search of a Bound Brook residence, investigators uncovered additional items stolen from vehicles in South Brunswick, according to police.

Quintana was arrested late Tuesday night and is being lodged in the Middlesex County Correction Center on $45,000 bail. Page was taken into custody on Thursday evening and has been released on a summons.
