TRAFFIC ALERT: Debris Spill Closes Promenade Blvd
Promenade Boulevard expected to remain closed for at least an hour between Route 1 and Route 27 due to rock spill.
Part of Promenade Boulevard has been closed because of a debris spill this afternoon.
Shortly before 1:30 p.m. a truck spilled a load of rocks in the roadway, police said. The road has been closed between Route 1 and Route 27.
Police expect the roadway to be reopened within the hour. Two vehicles sustained damage from the spilled rocks.
South Brunswick officers are on scene coordinating traffic in the area.
