South Brunswick Police Join Special Olympics 'Torch Run;' Traffic Delays Expected

Drivers were told Friday to be aware of traffic delays on Route 27 as a result of the Special Olympics Torch Run, according to South Brunswick police.

The run was to take place southbound on Route 27 from Finnegans Lane to the Princeton border. South Brunswick officers were to run with Franklin officers to raise money for the Special Olympics. Delays can be expected in the area between 3pm and 5 p.m.

South Brunswick officers participated in the first Torch run on Route 130 Friday morning from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. South Brunswick officers, Middlesex County Corrections officers, and Middlesex County Sheriff’s officers participated in the morning run.
