Police searching for two suspects who fled the scene in a blue Honda Accord

South Brunswick Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night at the Brookside Mobile Home Park on Route 1.

At about 10:50 p.m., police received several 911 calls reporting two suspects had fired several shots into a residence at the park, which is located near Blackhorse Lane on Route 1. There were no injuries reported and none of the residents were hit by gunfire, according to police.

The suspects then ran to Blackhorse Lane and got into a four-door metallic blue Honda Accord, possibly a 2006 model, according to police (see photo of similar vehicle).

The first suspect was described by police as a black male, 18- to 19-years-old, 5’06” tall with a stocky build, crew cut hairstyle, wearing a white tank top, blue basketball shorts, and white and blue Nike sneakers.

The second suspect was described by police as a black male, 18- to 19-years-old, 5’11” tall, with a thin build and crew cut hairstyle, wearing a dark colored t-shirt and jeans.

"This was not a random crime, detectives are following several leads," said Chief Raymond Hayducka. "I ask anyone with information on the case to contact our department."

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Sgt. Jim Ryan or Det. Roger Tuohy 732-329-4646
