Police Searching for Missing South Brunswick Woman

Elizabeth "Liz" Carlton, 44, was last seen Wednesday afternoon in South Brunswick.

South Brunswick Police are searching for a township woman who was reported missing for the second time since Spring 2012.

Elizabeth "Liz" Carlton, 44, was last seen on Wednesday afternoon. Police said she suffers from a cognitive impairment and her family members are concerned for her welfare. Carlton is 5'10" tall, weighs 140 lbs, has blonde hair and brown eyes. 

Carlton is belived to be driving a grey 2006 Acura RSX two-door, with the New Jersey license plate PUGDOGS.

In April 2012, a Silver Alert was issued for Carlton after her family reported her missing. She was soon located in south Jersey by New Jersey State troopers based on information from South Brunswick detectives.

Anyone who has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 732-329-4646. 

South Brunswick Police are coordinating with the NJSP Missing Person's Unit and the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office in attempts to locate Carlton.
