Tow local men were arrested and charged with burglary on Nov. 23.

Within minutes, an officer was on the scene and discovered a rear kitchen window had been forced open.  The officer then observed one suspect run from the front door of the house.

A second neighbor to the residence watched where the fleeing suspect ran and directed other officers who responded to the scene in the suspect's direction.

Police found that suspect, Mr. Dey, hiding in a drainage pipe off of Emerald Road and arrested him at about 2:05 p.m.

Officers seized a black 2011 Hyundai Accent the suspects used to drive to the residence, police said.

At around 4 p.m., a resident of Savage Road reported to police that their home had been broken into.  A search of the suspect's Hyundai revealed several items taken from the Savage Road residence, including several thousands of dollars in jewelry and medicine, according to police.

At around 9 p.m. that evening, Mr. Arhakos surrendered at South Brunswick police headquarters after learning police were searching for him.

Mr. Dey and Mr. Arhakos are being lodged in the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The investigation is ongoing to identify other possible burglaries connected to the suspects and if any other suspects are involved. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Ron Seaman at 732-329-4646.
